Sweetie's search for wheels!

As Blogville knows, Sweetie is our beloved Princess Regal Beagle, and now suffers from IVDD.  WHN and Dad are looking into obtaining a cart for her and WHN is in charge of the fundraising for this effort!

Yesterday we learned of a charity, Red Flyer, the Handicapped Pets Community on Facebook  that helps provide carts to disabled fur babies, with the caveat that they are returned once no longer needed, due to full recovery or the passing of the fur baby.  SO, WHN applied to have Sweetie placed on their waitlist and Sweetie was accepted!!!!  She is one of 17 fur babies in need of mobility support.

Gracie Lynn Memorial Peace Rose Planting Tutorial

If anyone has any questions as to how wonderful a place BLogville is, please watch this video from the Slimmer Pugs and Purrs- They recently lost their beloved Gracie Lynn, and this is how the White Dog Army helped their momma heal!  (The WDA also did something similar when Ginger, Thai and Anna Rose left us last year for the Rainbow Bridge- we have no idea how WHN would have gotten over her grief without the WDA's thoughtfulness, and on top of that, the WDA lost two of its members this year- Quinn two months ago and Nuka just days after Gracie Lynn)

The first donations for La Catorce (the 14- taken from the film For Greater Glory) have arrived- First up is Oskar from Pet Blogs United- his peep sent a huge box of red, white and blue fabrics.  Then Frankie and Ernie sent some green papers for the quilts and then Sarge sent a great red and white bandana as his donation!  Will post photos later today!
