Thai will be moving to the great state of Georgia, to join two female and one male dachshund in an attempt to further world wide Dachshund dominance. We are still waiting for the application to be approved, but forsee no difficulty, as his forever home momma and papa have previously adopted from DRNA before. His new parents will be driving from Georgia to Ohio to pick up this darn rascal. We are now taking bets as to the following: Will Mom cry?; How long will MOM cry?; How embarrassed are we going to be with MOM crying? How many boxes of tissues are we going to need? Who will start crying first, Mom or Momma?
Good news- there will be a mini long furred red male joining the Dachsies With Moxie. No details as of yet, but he coming from Pennsylvania.
PeeeS- Thai's forever Mom is going to keep in touch with Mom and send lots of pictures and stuff like that AND WILL BE THROWING THAI HIS VERY OWN POOL PARTY FOR HIS BIRTHDAY ON 6 AUGUST 2010, WHEN HE WILL TURN 14!!!!! How can we top that here in the blogging world? We think that we should have all of our blogging friends send cards to us here in Ohio for Thai's big day and MOM will send them to Thai in Georgia. What do you think?

HORRIFYING NEWS, PART 2
Mom FINALLY stopped crying last night and has accepted that Thai may be leaving us in the near future. She and Dad had a long talk, and if the adoption does NOT go through, they will adopt him instead. (Her crying jags are SOOOOO embarrassing)
In even worse news, the duk duk egg has been broken open- no idea what happened, but the parents and uncle are no longer around. We suspect sabotage, and are afraid of what Baxter will say.

HORRIFYING NEWS
Mom, aka the evil cleaning queen, received an email from DRNA today- Apparently someone who lives in Georgia, has put in an application to adopt Thai!!!! Mom has not stopped cryng since she read the email. No other details, except that an application has been filed and is being processed. Mom did pull herself together long enough to write back and tell DRNA that if the adoption fell through she and Dad would formally adopt Thai. This has to be the revenge for the baths yesterday, no other reason for it.

Bath Day
Mom gave us baths today!!! She thinks that we smell a little too "doggy" and we should clean up our act. After she and Dad got home from Mass early (so he could go BACK to work- he only got home this morning at 8, after getting called in around 2 PM) the evil Mom monster put us, one at a time, in the kitchen sink. The horrors that ensued- Chip went first, brave lad, and struggled to get away from the evil cleaning queen, but she overpowered him with lavender scented dog shampoo. Ginger submitted next, and Thai sold out- he enjoyed his bath. We just hope we can sneak out and roll in the garden and get muddy again.
The baths took so much out of us that we have to take LONG naps to recover from the shock. We overheard the clean queen say that this was going to be a weekly event now that we have spring (not with all this rain)
Somebody, HELP!!!!!
