Unicorn Appreciation Day

 Today is Unicorn Appreciation Day!  Here are some of What's Her Name's latest unicorn acquisitions- including the small pillow pet on the back of the couch, which she bought at Walgreen's today when she was picking up some baby aspirin for Thai.  St George, the dragon, is helping Ginger (the pink dachsie, Chip the small brown dachsie and Thai the large gray dachsie) protect the unicorns from harm!  He has even allowed them to use his castle!  The large brown dachsie is Baxter!  What's Her Name has all sorts of Lenox and Goebel/Hummel unicorn figurines, as well as three different sets of unicorn plates that have yet to be hung in the house!  She even has a set of Bearington Bears dressed up in dachshund sweaters!

Is this Baxter's Duk Duk?

Mom saw these duk duks in our neighbors backyard this week.  Two male and a female Mallard.  Lots more live in the nearby lake.  Today, we snuck up real close before Mom caught us.  We think that at least tow of these are related to Baxter's duk duk, and that at least one of the males is the REAL DUK DUK.  Then, in the backyard next to this one (our backyard opens up to three other backyards!!!), we found an egg- a new duk duk is on the way!!!
