One Year Ago- Ginger (9 October 2000 - 19 April 2012)

One year ago today, my heart was shattered into millions of pieces when my beloved dachshund Ginger, died in her sleep while I was sewing.  She had not been ill at all, having been to the vet only two weeks earlier.  Her sudden and inexplicable loss devastated us and our pack, and we still mourn her today.  Run free at the Bridge baby doll- Mama misses you.  (These pictures are from her very first day with us- on the way home from her foster home)

Oh how well we remember the Sad DAY that Ginger left us. So sudden and Shocking... yet to Well Planned by HER.

She did it HER WAY.

So sad about Ginger. Run free little one. We understand that even a year on it can still be painful.
Best wishes Molly

Bless her heart, she passed away in the best way possible, peacefully at her mom's side. Heaven gained a precious baby that day!

We never got to know Ginger but I can tell from this post how loved she was in her family, and how missed she is. Bless your heart today and this sad day.

You know in your heart that Ginger has never left you for a second; feel her, a part of you now filling every corner of your being. We, too, miss the photos of her physically sitting next to you and in her daddy's arms or leading the pack, but now we see with our hearts instead of our eyes. Ginger is a beautiful Angel filled with love and the spirit of joyful living, just as she always has been. Reach out, she's right there. Know we love you all. The White Dog Army
