Thai update- Saturday afternoon

Thai had blood work taken- his medication might be changed, depending upon what the tests say and we don't get the results back until Monday.

The yelping is due to his back.  The vet advised keeping him on two Tramadol a day or going the surgical route, which could be deadly due to his age and also the possibility of a blood clot.

Since he is still pretty active and only the yelping is new, he is still in pretty good shape.

Thai is again guarding the kitchen, and is showing less interest in people food again today.  Also would not eat his treats for going outside!

Well, dis is all clear to me now. We hads da same ting happen to brudder Max (DaOdderWeenie) 3 years ago. Da vet tried treating it wit da laser treatments but Max ended up having da surgery instead and recovered completely. Mom's weenie dog before us also had dis same back condition and had 3 surgeries over his 13-year-lifetime. He also recovered completely and ended up wit jus' a limp for all his trouble. Us weenies loves to give our hoomans someting to worry bout all da time.

Note from Mom....If Thai was ever on a Predisone-based medication, that would probably explain the excess peeing. I wish you and Thai good luck with all of this and we will be praying extra hard for him.
