Happy Birthday Dad

Today, 18 December 2013, would have been my Dad's 85th birthday!  The reason for the gray is that was his favorite color.  He was born in Minneapolis, MN, the only child of Olga Andersen Black and Albert Gain Black. He died on 17 September 2009 due  kidney problems.  He is survived by his wife, Agnes McKenna Black, his eight children and multiple grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jennifer Amber Black. He is sorely missed- and I freely admit that I am a Daddy's girl!

  1. Thank you for sharing those wonderful picture of your daddy and momma. I am so so blessed that I still have my mom and dad, but my dad also just turned 80 and is contending with kidney and heart issues. It is very worrisome and heartbreaking to me. I can feel all your love in each picture.

  4. What a wonderful tribute to your dad. I just saw that your mom was a McKenna and Charlie's first cousins are McKenna's too. Maybe you two are related somehow. BTW you look so much like your mom (and that is a compliment because she is beautiful).

    Love to all,

    Cindy
